A formerly short lived Guild under the equally short lived Dandy Lord Ribbon of Deci, the Throttlers in these current times were relatively easily to re-established once more. With so many of the murderous basically already murdered the Throttlers were able to be brought back into the fold. Under Lord Ribbon the Throttlers were not only executioners but their natural cowardly talents for knowing when things were going back acted as a fine warning of trouble. When you saw a Guilded Throttler running by then you knew it was time to follow. It might be a coincidence of course, but many of the Throttlers have big ears and wear bigger hats, and are a bit short, and are big fans of Sire Berry.
Eventually the guild was granted admission to The Hundred, the Throttlers started off as rather lowly members of that organisation – but members nonetheless. Ever linked to Stab Street they are allies, if not actually more closely linked and people from each tend to hide out or hunker down in one another’s rooms chambers or halls when it that part of the city. The Throttlers of course are now rather above all that looting themselves, but they sell daily licences to others to do such for them…
Formalised and ritualized the Throttlers acclaimed their Lord Throttler and eventually King Throttle, a figure scarce seen outside the Guild, or so they say. Of course there are all manner of malign Guilds in the Hundred content to rest on their reputation for doing such. The Throttlers aren’t because now looting and throttling is a duty, and one they take as seriously as any reasonably new Guild will. The goblins of Deci rejoice, for at last there is now one amongst them, as well as Sire Berry, that will be all goblin for the goblins. Indeed and there certainly seems to be a swagger amongst the city goblins, especially towards those other goblins, who are just fecking common as fecking muck.
