Over the midsummer month of Juon 1009 The Forge travelled the territories of Deci, marking those mines that were worked by the city and forging trails between them and the city, trails which became known as the Deci Tin Roads. Cuts were made in hills, old markers were unearthed, woods hacked through and marshland drained. Dust was packed down and fords raised. Markers constructed and great metal poles with an arrow pointing to the city so that the next can be seen across the land. As much as could be done then to make as straight as an arrow. It’s not perfect, hills still get in the way, as do gullies but even so the dominion of man over the territory is felt by nature and the land a little scarred in the process but the trails ensure the ever steady flow of the precious metals from mine to city market.
